Our 2020 Campout is cancelled
Here at White Oak Farm and Education Center, we care deeply about our region (and the planet as a whole) and our farm and camps reflect these values. Food is organic, home grown, and locally sourced. Our crafts and activities are nature-based with an emphasis on respect and care for the land. We want kids to explore, create, and ask questions. Our goal is for children to have positive experiences on the farm, and leave with a greater appreciation for the cultivated and natural worlds!
All camp staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. Each staff member has been trained in environmental education and also works during the
school year as teaching staff for our “FarmSchool” field trip programs. In addition, staff are encouraged to use their strengths and interests to shape camp. For example, herbalists may make salve with the children and naturalists might lead a hike. Please see the staff bio section of the website for more information.
Note: If you or your child wants to visit the farm before signing up, we’d love to give you a tour! Please contact us to arrange a date and time.
