Summer Farmstay at
White Oak Farm & Education Center
Summer 2008 Dates

Ages 8-13
White Oak Farm is a non-profit farm and education
center located in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains in beautiful
Williams, Oregon. We are pleased to be offering our sixth season of
children's farm programs in 2008!
Farmstay Activities include: Gardening, Swimming, Exploring
nature trails, Farm crafts, Animal care, Cooking, Harvesting from the
garden, Milking goats, and Building with cob.
A Typical Day on the Farm starts with morning farm
chores and breakfast, and includes time in the garden, work on a Special
Project, lunch, rest time, farm crafts, swimming, and evening campfire
games and songs.
Farm Fresh Food is prepared by farm staff and the children.
We will make cheese, salads, breads, pizza, ice cream and more, from
farm-grown and other all-organic food.
Accommodations: sleeping under the stars with optional tents, and hot
showers.
Staff: Taylor Starr and Stacey Denton are Co-Founders
of White Oak Farm, environmental educators, and farmers. They are hosting
their sixth season of farm camps this summer. Sarah Shea and Josh Weber
will be participating in their second season of Farm Camps along with
three environmental education interns.
Cost: A week-long Farmstay is offered for $500. Limited
scholarships are also available.
