Summer Farmstay at White Oak Farm & Education Center

White Oak Farm is a non-profit farm and education center located in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains in beautiful Williams, Oregon. We are pleased to be offering our sixth season of children's farm programs in 2008!

Farmstay Activities include: Gardening, Swimming, Exploring nature trails, Farm crafts, Animal care, Cooking, Harvesting from the garden, Milking goats, and Building with cob.

A Typical Day on the Farm starts with morning farm chores and breakfast, and includes time in the garden, work on a Special Project, lunch, rest time, farm crafts, swimming, and evening campfire games and songs.

Farm Fresh Food is prepared by farm staff and the children. We will make cheese, salads, breads, pizza, ice cream and more, from farm-grown and other all-organic food.
Accommodations: sleeping under the stars with optional tents, and hot showers.

Staff: Taylor Starr and Stacey Denton are Co-Founders of White Oak Farm, environmental educators, and farmers. They are hosting their sixth season of farm camps this summer. Sarah Shea and Josh Weber will be participating in their second season of Farm Camps along with three environmental education interns.

Cost: A week-long Farmstay is offered for $500. Limited scholarships are also available.
